This finca is a real rarity because there is very rarely anything for sale in this gorge. It was developed and cultivated in the 1980s by the first northern European migrants to La Palma and is now a "must see" for all La Palma fans. The beautiful location in the middle of the wildly romantic gorges and mountainous landscape of the north of our beautiful island, with the fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the absolute peace and quietness has, however, also its price: The finca can only be reached on foot, however, the footpath is only approx. 105 m up to the next parking possibility (which is a big exception in this area) so that it can be mastered quite easily. Meanwhile, the footpath has been paved with hand-made basalt and an electricity supply has been installed, but hardly any of the inhabitants use it, because in the meantime practically all of them have supplied themselves with environmentally friendly solar and wind energy, as well as this finca. However, all the building materials for the 1999 renovation and extension of the buildings were brought on foot to the property, which again and again arouses a certain respect for the settlers of this valley of dragon trees.
 
The main house was built from an old Canary Islands farmhouse and was built entirely from hand carved Blue Basalt. It houses a spacious and cosy kitchen-living room on two levels with magnificent sea views, as well as a bedroom and a large daylight bath with shower and corner bath tub and a covered terrace. What more could you ask for? Well, a small guest area can't hurt: For this purpose there is an attached studio, consisting of an organised living-bedroom and a well renovated living cave. If you need even more space, you can finish another existing building shell for a small studio with bathroom. It has a roof and therefore has right of continuation.
 
The garden is well overgrown with various fruit and ornamental trees as well as large palms and offers tranquillity and a fantastic sea view. There is no through traffic in the whole area, the only narrow but well asphalted access road stops a good 100 m from the property, otherwise there are only hikers.
 
The property is supplied with city water and rented stock water as well as photovoltaic and wind power; there is satellite TV and very cheap internet via WLAN of the municipality, mobile phone service is available. The hot water is generated with a solar system (together with the neighbour).

Absolutely quiet in a wonderful natural setting with 180° panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean at 440 m above sea level below the village of Las Tricias. Distance to the centre of Las Tricias with bar and shopping facilities approx. 3,5 km, to Puntagorda with all shopping and school facilities approx. 6,5 km, to the sandy beach of Tazacorte approx. 31 km, to the international airport approx. 69 km and to the next nuclear power station approx. 1.665 km.
